A wedding no one was really expecting anymore… arriving exactly when it should.
On August 22, 2026, we’re saying yes — surrounded by family, friends, tiny guests with big personalities, and a mix of cultures from Belgium, Romania, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, India, Turkey…and possible a few more.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
One of the most important historical landmarks in Transylvania, the cathedral dates back to the 11th century and has witnessed centuries of history — from medieval kings to royal coronations.
We kindly recommend arriving a bit before 2 PM, so we can start on time (and avoid dramatic late entrances).
Parking is available nearby.
Between the ceremony and the celebration, we have a small detour planned - a photo session in the Alba Carolina Citadel. Built in the 18th century in Vauban style, it’s one of the most impressive fortresses in Eastern Europe - wide gates, star-shaped walls, and just the right balance between history and open space. It’s also a beautiful setting for photos. You’re welcome to join us, whether for a quick picture together, a few moments with friends, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere. This part is entirely optional. But we’ll be there, just before the party, and we’d love to share it with you.
We imagined a garden party that reflects who we are, with a long aperitif in the sun, a generous summer buffet — including the “volunteering” roasted piglet — along with glasses that keep refilling, music settling in, and conversations that take their time.
And of course, dancing. Sooner or later.
The atmosphere will be chic, light, and joyful — the kind of evening that unfolds naturally, without noticing time pass.

We did things… in our own order. First: a child. Then: a house. And now: the wedding.
Together, we love travelling, food, sunshine… and doing it all over again.
One (very important) detail
Our story comes with a third main character: Leon.
He arrived in 2020 - on the exact day of our anniversary (excellent timing, we must say) and quickly made sure everything revolved around him… including us.
So for the wedding, it only made sense: He’ll be our Master of Ceremonies.
